CASE STUDY
The consulting company wanted to pitch a law enforcement mobile application that allowed users to track violations, locate ongoing incidents, and review penal code guidelines.

The Problem
I was given instructions to create a mobile app composed of several tiles that allowed users to accomplish various tasks, beginning with the following:
1. Show various manuals for equipment or search for rules and regulations
2. Enter violation or incident reports
3. View the weather and fire danger in the area

I was also given the two mockups on the left to use as inspiration.
Research and Preliminary Mockups
I ascertained that the main goal of the application was primarily to serve as a mobile data terminal for law enforcement officers inside the Forest Service.

I happen to watch people roleplay as police officers in a video game, so I used my nerdy background to my advantage. I looked into the terminals created on different servers for inspiration on what else to include and view how others have solved similar problems.

Using this information, I created a low-fidelity wireframe and confirmed the final tiles to include in the mockup.
Prototypes
After receiving feedback and confirmation that I was on the right track, I proceeded to create a prototype for the application.

I ensured it was interactable for the potential clients and included sleek animations and a new logo.
